NISKU, AB, Canada and SIOUX CENTER, IA, USA (April 15, 2016) – Link Suspensions of Canada (LSC), formerly Raydan Manufacturing, today announced it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification through Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. (PJR). The certification demonstrates the Quality Management System at LSC has the capability to consistently provide quality products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations.
ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized standard based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, commitment from top management, the process approach and dedication to continual improvement.
Based in Nisku (Edmonton) Alberta, LSC manufactures heavy duty and vocational suspensions, and provides twin steer modifications to serve the unique needs and requirements for the heavy vocational and military industries. “This certification demonstrates our commitment to consistently provide quality products and services that meet and exceed customers’ expectations,” explained Chris English, Managing Director at LSC.
In order to achieve its certification, LSC performed a rigorous internal audit and conducted training with all employees regarding the requirements and expectations for the certification. It then engaged Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. to accredit its ISO 9001:2008 certification.
LSC’s US-based counterpart, Link Manufacturing, has been ISO 9001 certified for more than 20 years. It also received ISO/TS 16949 certification in 2004 and ISO 14001 certification in 2014. ISO/TS16949 is an automotive sector-specific Quality Management System set of requirements, and ISO 14001 is an international standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
