Link Manufacturing is a privately owned company located in Sioux Center, Iowa. For over 30 years, Link® has been committed to engineering heavy-duty trucking solutions that raise the bar for performance, installation efficiency and overall driver well being. This devotion started in 1980 with one truck driver searching for a better ride. The result of his efforts was Cabmate®, a revolutionary cab air suspension system. Today, Cabmate® is the standard in premium cab suspensions, and Link® supplies more OEM cab suspensions than anyone else in the world.
Link’s proficiency in heavy-duty cab suspensions fueled a desire to expand its footprint into other commercial vehicle suspensions. In 1997, Link obtained the HiSteer lift axle product line and subsequently developed a new and improved offering of auxiliary axles. Today, Link provides liftable suspensions ranging in capacity from 8,000 to 20,000 pounds in both steerable and non-steerable configurations. Throughout the years, Link has continued to expand its product offerings to include UltraRide® chassis suspension for light and medium duty trucks, Cat’s Eye® Tire Pressure Maintenance System, and Cargo Management Products.
By early 2012, Link® sought an opportunity to further enhance their presence in the vocational truck market. In February of that year, Link Suspensions of Canada, LP (Link’s Canadian affiliate) acquired the assets, expertise and capabilities of RAYDAN Manufacturing. Based in Nisku, Alberta, Link Suspensions of Canada specializes in the design and development of tandem suspensions for vocational applications, specifically the Air Link® Walking Beam suspension with both spring and air configurations. LSC also performs specialized chassis modifications and tandem steer installations in their acclaimed modification center.
As Link’s family of products has grown so have our design, development, and manufacturing capabilities. Starting in the early 2000’s, Link began to expand its facilities and employ state of the art manufacturing processes. Link’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC) features substantial testing, validation and analytical technology. The ATC facilitates our development of new products and analysis of emerging technologies to apply to future products. By 2013, Link had added world-class machining equipment to compliment the array of CNC bending centers, robotic welding, and laser cutting systems. Two powder-coat painting systems support Link’s efficient and highly versatile assembly and packaging processes. These investments have allowed Link to advance upon our ISO9001 quality certification and TS16949 automotive quality certification.
But designing and manufacturing great products is just a small part of Link®. Our Midwestern roots and work ethic has resulted in an unwavering focus on the customer in everything we do. It’s our passion – and it’s what differentiates us from our competition. From collaborative OE engineering support to specialty-modified applications; from lean manufacturing to time saving product improvements; from unparalleled, personal customer service to over 99% on-time delivery – we pride ourselves on going the extra mile to meet our customers’ expectations and guarantee their satisfaction.
Our integrity is our pledge to customers and is highlighted in our tag line:
Driven to Outperform
And, we not only say it, but we live it every day.
