Below is a list of basic operating tips for the Cat's Eye tire pressure
maintenance system. They can also be found in your Cat's Eye installation instructions.

1) The torque limit on the Cat's Eye mounting bolt is 15 ft. lbs. Damage or leakage
can occur if mounting bolt is over-tightened.

2) Bubble test to insure correct installation.

3) Valve stems must be in good condition to operate the Cat's Eye.

4) Always insure that hoses are installed with minimal bending or "kinking".

5) Do not use acid wheel wash. This will void the warranty.

6) When installing new or used tires, the inside of the tire must be clean and free of
all materials, including wheel balancing compounds.

7) The Cat's Eye is not recommended for steer axles.
